    OH, that is NOT an insult.  That is a compliment!!  They are dying to know where you got it so they can get one too.  They want to be just like you!!  Here's what you do in situations like this:

    Tell them, you are not trying to be rude but another client beat them to it.  You donated part of your costume them. (Your new grandkid. :))
    Tell them, your costume is one-of-a-kind that you made yourself.  It takes a lifetime.
    Give them some advice.
     
    "Make your own!  You've already started.  What's stopping you now?"

    You are such an amazing carbon product, it is very easy to defend you against you!
    On our next trip around the Universe, I've mentally planned for us to meet, physically... maybe not in carbon form but wherever we land. :) :)

  • In my case it was the characteristics of my one eyed ogre sloppily dressed father passed down whom I actually got commented on; Boy! Your father sure is scary!  and is probably why I have never and most likely will never attend a Halloween party! I have had enough!
